About Nicole Yorke, RMT

In December 2008 I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC. British Columbia massage therapy schools provide the highest amount of education and training in all of North America. The students are required to complete the 3000 hour diploma program, along with 500 hours of training in a student based clinic located within the schools. Students gain experience working with individuals of all ages and many different conditions.

February 2009 I successfully passed the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia boards examinations. March 2009 I received my registrants status and started Dynamic Massage Therapy in April 2009.

I am so happy to be in Port McNeill and running a successful business in the community I was raised. As part of my service, I will provide you with knowledge of self-administered pain management techniques such as stretching and strengthening exercises and the use of heat or cold therapy, which will help you get the most out of each treatment.

About Emily Knox, RMT

Born and raised in Qualicum Beach, I received my massage therapy training at Victoria’s West Coast College of Massage Therapy. I completed the 3000 hour diploma program and became registered as an RMT in 2011. I immediately moved up to Port McNeill and spent a wonderful two and a half years exploring the north island and gaining experience in my new career. In April, 2014, I decided to change things up a bit and I moved to Parksville. I spent 9 great months running my own practice at the Coombs Junction Wellness Centre… Turns out I missed Port McNeill, so in Jan 2015, I happily moved back and resumed my practice at Dynamic Massage!

I really enjoy my job and take great pride in the work that I do. I aim to understand the personal needs and goals of each client in order to form a specific treatment plan for that individual. I enjoy giving a more deep and assertive massage when appropriate, but also aim to make each treatment as comfortable and enjoyable as possible

I believe that body maintenance and healthy living are lifestyle choices that extend beyond my clinic. Therefore I encourage others to pursue wellness by providing suggestions on how patients can take part in their own healing process. I am also happy to refer clients to other areas of health care and suggest other treatment options when beneficial.

Whatever your goals are in receiving massage therapy, I hope to help you see those goals achieved!
